I was at the Zee Heritage India Festival this past weekend. It was a two day event held at the Dulles Expo in Chantilly. The event brought together the spirit of India that lives in the VA, MD and DC area. However I met a lot of vendors who came from all over including North Carolina, New Jersey and Georgia. There was clothing, jewelry, furniture, food, music, movies and entertainment for everyone. There was also a new indian pop star who performed, Rimi Basu and a lot of amazing young talent from the local indian community. Overall it was a wonderful event and I met a lot of wonderful people.
